Sarah's Pov

 As the little devil was screaming and wiggling, I started looking around to see if someone was there. I saw a lady sleeping on the nearby chair, she seemed old. She woke up from her sleep with a jerk after hearing the sounds. She saw me and came running towards us, I guess she is his nanny or something, he hopped towards her immediately and did some actions towards the pool while sniffing softly.

I turned towards the pool to see his action figure floating there, I went towards it picked it up and gave it to him, his hazel eyes cheered up and he smiled at me the most beautiful and precious smile I have ever seen. Then my gaze shifted towards the lady and she stopped smiling once she noticed I was angry

"You should be more careful when you have the responsibility of a baby" I said to her in a firm voice

"I am sorry mam, I am really sorry I have motion sickness that's why I took some medicines and because of their effect I dozed off" she kept on blabbering

I just nodded at her words and bend down a little and placed a small peck on the kid's face "You should not cry like this handsome" he giggled at me shyly, and soon it was interrupted by an annoying familiar voice "Trying to scare him dum-dum" ughhh I turned around with an annoyed expression only to see the one and only Akshit Roy standing there with his hands folded on his chest, aka the jerk my best friend is marrying.

Akshit is a nice guy he is like one of those guys you read about in books. We share a Love-Hate relationship (mostly hate) still he is perfect for my Kavu, one of the few things I like about him is the amount of hard work this man has done, even after having a well-established family business he started his own clothing line, he is the CEO and founder of Droptop one of the leading Fashion brands in India. He is fun to be around just like Kavu, they both are definitely made for each other

"When will you stop calling me that?" I asked him while hitting his shoulder

"Never" he replied with a mischievous grin This man really loves to annoy me

"Your bags have been shifted to your room and now you may also go there I don't want my princess (Kavya) to get angry just because YOU are late for the dinner" he said in an ordering tone.

"Okay boss" I replied and left for my room pushing him aside

I went to my room and took a much needed long hot shower. When I came out of the shower it was already 6:30 pm and my phone had 15 missed calls from Kavu and 1 from Akshit.

"Shit shit shitttt how did I end up being this late" I said to myself while calling Kavu and wearing my Anarkali suit that was not cooperating with me right now.

"Hello" she is angry and I can sense it from her voice

"Kavu, do you have a bindi with you?" I replied ignoring the cold hello

"Care to explain why were you not picking up my calls and where the fuck are you" she said more like screamed at me again!

"Issshh yaar shaadi kya ho rhi hai zyada chillane lag gyi hai tu"

(you have started shouting too much since your wedding is fixed)

"I am just nervous you know his family and I don't want to face them alone and nor do I want to be late they are quite punctual bhai" she said in a low voice

"I am almost ready just want the bindi I am coming to your room" I lied while still struggling to wear my kurta I ended the call and started doing my makeup there was practically no time left so I just applied Kajal, mascara, a little blush and gloss, I wore my heels, locked my room and rushed towards Kavya's room.

I entered the room as the door was opened. Akshit was standing there consoling Kavu. He saw me and I mouthed 'sorry'. I turned towards Kavu and damn she was looking so beautiful just like a princess, she was wearing a baby pink saree with white Pearl border.

I side hugged her kissing her head and she smiled at me. She stood up from the chair and went towards the table that was near the mirror, I followed her as I know she was taking out the bindi for me. She turned around and placed the bindi between my eyebrows and said "perfect"

"Just like you" I replied and hugged her

"We should go now" Akshit said in a jealous tone hahaha he is very possessive, me and Kavu laughed at him and we three left the room

As we were about to enter the hall my phone rang, it was my mommy dearest. Both Akshit and Kavu looked at me with a questioning look "You both go ahead I'll just talk to Mumma and come" I told them and they nodded I left the area and went towards the deck

"Can't you even call us once just to inform that you have reached there" My mom said in her firm voice

"Hello Mumma, Hnji me bilkul theek hu aap kaise ho?" I replied in a sarcastic tone

(Hello mumma, I am fine how are you?)

"Drop that attitude young lady you are the one at fault right now" she said, practically snapped at me. "I know ma I am sorry, everything happened too fast, you know me. moreover, I am not a kid anymore maa" I replied in the sweetest tone possible. She just 'hmm' at me "When are you guys coming?" I asked her "We'll reach there by 10 in the morning" "Okay!!! I got to go now they are waiting for me at the dinner, bye love you" I said to her and ended the call

I turned around to walk back to the hall but saw that little devil playing with a balloon and AGAIN HE WAS ALONE I made my way towards him "Hi handsome" I said with a big smile on my face as I bend down to match his height, he looked at me with his big hazel eyes and then turned away completely ignoring me, like wtf I saved this kid today and he is ignoring me only.

it's not like that I want him to say thank you or something but how can he ignore me, this is the reason I don't like kids ughh! I moved myself to face him again "Why are you not talking to me?" I asked "Because dada has said to not talk to strangers" he replied and oh his sweet voice made me smile "But I saved you today, didn't your dada taught you to say thank you to people who help you?" I said to him teasingly and he shook his head in a yes "Then?" I asked him raising my eyebrows "Thank you and here take it" he replied smiling at me and passing me his balloon "No, you can keep it and you're welcome handsome" I said to him to which he giggled

"By the way what's your name?" "Yuhaan Malhotra" he replied with a beaming smile "Hello Mr. Malhotra, I am Sarah Sharma" I forwarded my hand for a handshake and he did the same with his chubby little hands

"Why are you here alone?" I asked "I am waiting for my dada" he replied I picked him up and said "let's take you to your dada" I started moving towards the dinner hall As the cruise is owned by the Roys and is booked for their marriage only maybe the kid's parents will be present at the dinner

While walking I could feel him looking at me playing with my hair and jhumka and then suddenly he placed a kiss on my cheek and said "You are also very pretty Saru" Saru? Did he really just give me a nickname, I hate kids but I like this one he is cute and is way too mature for his age

"Thanks, alloo" I replied with a smile

"Me no Alloo, I am Yug" he replied while pouting

"No yug, you are my alloo, same as I am your saru" I said

"Okayyy" he said with a sigh and hugged me while keeping his head on my shoulder I don't know why but it made me happy If anyone who knows me saw me like this they'll be in shock, walking with a kid in her hands that is not Sarah. If there would be any kid, I would walk ten miles away from it.

My thoughts came to an end when I reached the dinner venue, I opened the door and it made a loud noise giving me the most dramatic entry where everyone was looking at me in shock as if I am carrying an alien or something

"Whose kid is this?" I asked
