Agam's Pov

Today was one hell of a roller coaster ride,
I never knew that this much could ever happen in just few hours.

Why is she suddenly here? Where was she for the last 3 years? Why did she leave that day?

My mind was filled with all the kinds of questions I wanted to ask her but wasn't able to.

When I heard the word Mrs. Malhotra from her mouth, I felt a heavy pain shooting in my chest. Savi was the only person whom I considered as a friend after Akshit and Abhigyan. Love was never there in our relationship but a sense of understanding and friendship was. It's been more than two years and still it hurts like hell.

FLASHBACK

I was busy in my office when I got a call from Maa

“Agam come as soon as possible” she was scared, she was crying!

“What happened? Tell me the location” I said to her.

She told me and it was a hospital, but why a hospital? Who is hurt?

All kinds of questions were running in my head. I called Savi as she was at her uncle's place though I told her not to go as I don't trust them but after her parents’ death, they were the only family she had, I wanted to inform her that I might get late in picking her up from there but she was not answering

I reached the hospital and rushed towards the reception and saw Akshit and Abhigyan already filling up the formalities.

“What happened?” I asked them
Both of them had a blank expression

“Yaar vo Savi” Akshit was trying to say something but was not able to.

“What Savi? She is at her uncle's place, yha kya hua hai yeh batao mujhe and why was maa crying?” I spoke

'Savi got into an accident Agam' Abhigyan said.
As soon as those words entered my ears it felt as if someone had knocked the ground off my feet.

Flashback ends

I came out of my thoughts when I heard some footsteps, I turned around only to see my bee walking towards the pool area with her head dug in her phone so deep that she didn't even realised that I was standing here looking at her, why is she not asleep yet? Before I could process anything, I saw her losing her balance and the next second my arms were around her waist and it was the same moment, once again.

“Dhyan se bee” unintentionally these words left my mouth and I could see she was shocked. I mentally face palmed myself, well done Agam now she would think of you as a creepy person, a person who gave a nickname to a stranger.

Before she could say something we both heard someone clearing their throat.

I helped her stand straight and turned around to see my mother standing there with a mischievous smile

“Where were you? Yug is crying, he wants you” she said

I looked at bee, while she had her head low, she murmured a goodnight, turned around and practically ran away. And my mother was smiling again

“Don't smile too much your cheeks will hurt” I said to her while we were walking towards our rooms, I know what all things might be running in her 'matchmaker mind'.

Since the past one year my mom has tried multiple attempts to get me set up with someone and at this point, she can match me with anyone. I get her concern; she is my mother after all but I have accepted my fate and I don't want to ruin anyone else's life because of my fucked up and complicated one.

I went inside her room, picked up yug who was crying like anything, yug is a happy baby, he has never caused any trouble and he cries very less but he does needs me sometimes in the middle of the night.

I took him to my room and cuddled next to him until we both fell asleep.

Next morning
Author's Pov

Everyone was having breakfast, The elders were busy talking about various things, Agam and Akshit were discussing something about today's function and Abhigyan was busy playing with yug.

After his dad, yug is really close to Abhigyan, they share a special chacha-bhatija bond. Akshit and Abhigyan lost their dad in a car accident when they were very young, this is one of the reasons that Abhigyan is closest to yug and loves to pamper him in every way possible.

Soon everyone's head turned towards the gate when it opened only to see Sarah and Kavya fighting about something.

Sarah's Pov

“Yaar Kavu yeh kya pehnva diya hai tune sab hume hi ghoor rhe hai” I said to her

“Chup kar jaa Sarah! Meri shaadi baar baar nhi honi hai ek hi mauka hai mujhe mere shaukh jee lene de” she scolded me.

(Shut up Sarah! I'll only have my wedding once so let me enjoy it)

We went towards the table where everyone was having breakfast we greeted the elders and settled on our chairs

As soon as I sat down, I realised I am sitting opposite to him our eyes met for a fraction of seconds before I shifted my gaze towards yug who was busy playing with Abhigyan, they really do share a special bond.

“Vaise Abhigyan kitna hi sada hua ho yug ke saath kaise hass rha hai” I whispered to Kavya.

“Yes, they are close, you know Abhigyan was really good at painting but he stopped it all of a sudden and then after so many years he painted a portrait of yug for his first bday” she replied

“Chalo koi to bhai talented hai” I said to her sarcastically and she fake glared at me which made me giggle.

(Atleast one of the brothers is talented)

Agam's Pov

I don't know how can a person look so fucking adorable in everything they wear. She is sitting in front of me in a plain white tshirt and shorts and still looking like a goddess to me.

I want to talk to her, I want to ask her about everything that happened that day but she is ignoring me since yesterday and it's okay, I'll give her as much time as she needs.

I heard her giggling and that was the second most adorable thing my ears have ever heard. First will always be yug's laugh.

I looked up to see her and she was looking at Abhigyan playing with Yug and was admiring and smiling at them, but then why is she smiling, is it because of yug or Abhigyan?

Why am I even thinking these things, nothing is ever going to happen between us, she is too pure to deal with my drama.

And then I heard maa saying “Agam beta khaana thanda ho rha hai pehle vo khaalo”
Her comment made everyone and her look at me and I was already looking at her, our eyes met for few seconds before she AGAIN moved them back to her plate.

Sarah's Pov

Why is he staring at me like that, I am sure he must be thinking kya manner less ladki hai, ek to help kari upar se thank you to dur ki baat hai bina bataye bhaag hi gyi.

(I am sure he must be thinking what a mannerless girl i am, instead of saying thank you when he helped me, I just ran away). 

“Sarah, you need to talk to him, you need to clear things out” I said to my self

“Good morning, everyone!” A voice came from behind and it was Aashna.

She went to hug her parents and everyone greeted her, meanwhile I saw Abhigyan's smile shift into his cold expressions as soon as he saw her, yesterday too, i saw him coming towards us after the call but as soon as he saw Aashna standing with us, he just turned around and left. I wonder what's going between them.

“Dal me kuch to kaala hai” I said to myself

“Puri Dal hi kaali hai” Kavya whispered and then I realised I said my words loud enough for her to hear.

“Oh my god bhabhi I love your tshirt and Sarah yours too” Aashna said as she settled on her seat next to me

“Thank you it was my idea” Kavu said proudly and I just smiled, I cannot have a conversation with her right now after all the shit I blabbered yesterday cause it is  just too embarrassing.

“Just wait and watch till you see our shirts” Akshit said looking at Aashna to which Agam and Abhigyan gave him a questioning look

“Are bhai aise kyu dekh rhe ho shaadi hai meri, tum mere liye itna nhi kar sakte” Akshit said to them

“NAHI”
“NAHI”
They both said together making all of us laugh.

Akshit got up from his seat and went towards a bag which was kept on the table behind us. He took out few black T-shirts that had groom squad written on it and one white that had Groom written on it.

Abhigyan and Agam looked at the T-shirts then at Akshit and then laughed together looking at each other.

“Oh god! leave them Akshit bhai give me my tshirt I'll wear it for you” Aashna said

“Vo aashna teri to bani hi nhi, we were not sure about you coming actually” Akshit said to her and mouthed sorry

“HAWWWW!!!! How can you do this to me” she said to him in shock.

“Haw kya Haw, 4 saal tak shakal nhi dikhayi apni aur abh kya karne aayi hai? Don't Haw me, naraz hu me tere se” Akshit said jokingly trying to turn all of this on Aashna.

“I am here to get back what's mine” Aashna said staring at Abhigyan.

Me and Kavya exchanged looks while Agam and Akshit were also confused, Abhigyan was busy trying to ignore her words by keeping his head low and eating his breakfast
(TRYING)

“Jo yeh saara pyaar aap logo ka mere liye khatam ho gya hai na, mujhe vo sab vaapis chahiye, abh mere ko kisi ke bhi tshirt do mujhe tshirt chahiye” she said changing the topic.

To which everyone laughed awkwardly

I turned my face towards left to see mumma, papa, pooja aunty and Sumit uncle (Kavya's parents) on the door

“Mummaaaaa” I squealed in excitement
Kavya and I ran towards them and hugged them.

“Aap pehle maa baap hoge jo apni hi beti ki shaadi me late aa rhe ho” kavya said showing her fake anger towards Pooja aunty and Sumit uncle.

“Are bacha you know how your dad is end moment pe sab yaad aata hai inhe” pooja aunty said to her kissing her forehead and uncle mouthed a sorry to Kavya.

“What are you even wearing” I heard my mother saying to me as she slightly slapped my head.

“Papa dekh lo itne time baad apni beti se mil rhi hai and abhi bhi daant hi maar rhi hai” I whined like a kid to my dad

“Arti kya ho gya mat maaro bachi ko” papa said as usual taking my side.

“Aapki bachi bachi nhi hai, 25 saal ki ladki hai shaadi ki Umar ho gyi hai iski” mom said giving a fake glare to papa and all of us laughed

“Namaste pooja ji” we turned around to see Drishti aunty and Rashmi aunty standing there, the elders greeted each other and then we left for our rooms

As everyone who was invited to the wedding arrived so the cruise sailed off.

Me and Kavya wanted to enjoy the view so we decided to go to the deck area and aashna also joined us.

“Aashna, thank you so much for the lehanga it's the same as I always wanted” Kavya said to Aashna

Aashna has a Fashion line of ethnic wear and oh god they are too good, Lehanga dekh ke hi shaadi karne ka man kar jata hai. She has two stores in NYC and one in London too.

“Yes, I loved it, it screams Kavya” I said to her

“Thank you so much guys, I am happy to hear this” she replied with a smile

“Jab me kabhi shaadi karu toh please tum hi mera lehanga banaogi” I said to her

To which Kavya said under her breath “apni bhabhi ke liye to banayegi hi”

“Kya aapne kuch bola sorry mene suna nhi” Aashna asked Kavya

I pinched her elbow and she said
“Are nhi kuch nhi, I was just looking at the view”

We chatted for few more minutes and then went to our rooms to get ready for the engagement party.
